Manager training program

COMMIT is commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action to plan and implement the management training program for executives from 17 countries, including Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America. For 25 years, the program has been facilitating successful economic cooperation and serving to promote economic exchange between Germany and the participating countries, which is increasing from year to year. More than 16,000 executives have participated in the program so far. About 1000 more participants join every year.
During a six-week online phase and a two-week stay in Germany, program participants gain insights into German business culture and acquire skills in two areas of competence: Business Administration (management skills) in German business practice and Foreign Trade (cooperation skills) in relation to working with German companies. Participants visit German companies on site and have the opportunity to establish direct contacts. Many program participants maintain contacts through alumni networks after their stay in Germany and at the same time serve as contacts for German companies abroad. The program is thus an excellent opportunity for both German and foreign companies, with both sides benefiting from the transfer of skills and business contacts.
